Sportliget has made history this Saturday: the first, the only KPDG Fun League has started. As you know, we play a little differently every week, learn something new, while competing a little as well.
The first extraordinary round: Putt only! The rule is simple: speed limit is 3, so only putter type discs may be used. One of the recurring elements of the KPDG Fun League is that every player gets an “Ooops” opportunity on every hole, meaning they can rethrow one selected shot, and go from the better one.
This was the first League round that we had to start in rain, but it took only until the 3rd hole for the sun to get back – though it did not bring any warmth.
Jesztl József flew with his putters up to his final score of -3, followed by Kazai Bálint at -1 and Kiss Péter at +2, while in FPO division Tóth Veronika finished with +7, and unfortunately Csepeli Alíz had to leave the round early. In the beginner women’s division Nancy Milks finished with +40.
